Developing Young People since 2015
Viewfinder has been dedicated to creatively developing youth since 2015. We utilise film, theatre, creative writing, and drama to help dis-advantaged young people explore relevant social and personal issues. Our initiatives foster long-lasting outcomes and produce tangible, shareable outputs that engage and inspire. Through our flexible, diverse and always youth - led programs, we provide a safe and creative environment for growth and expression.
Viewfinder has consistently launched an average of 5 innovative projects each year, engaging over 20 young people per project and impacting countless others with meaningful, positive results. We work with a carefully curated and long - maintained professional cohort of partners such as Recre8now, Daniel Alexander Films, The Mockingbird Cinema, All Saints Youth Project, Birmingham Young Film Network, MET Film School and other to create customised resources and dynamic programs that break down barriers, enhance community cohesion, and uplift the prospects and self-esteem of disadvantaged youth across the greater West Midlands.
