X Menhir at Hartor : Hartor is a good walk south of Princetown and south east of Burrator. Dartmoor is studded with ancient monuments. This one is part of a number of ancient sites in this valley.

  Teignover Clapper : Wild Dartmoor. Trees just can't do too well here. I like to think this scene hasn't changed in hundreds of years.
  Terhill Cross : Just one of the crosses that make up the Abbots Way between Buckfastleigh and Tavistock above the Swincombe Valley. Taken late in the day.
  Buckland Beacon : I like the late evening light cast on this ancient gateway along with the more modern wire!
  Forest dawn : Deep in the Forest in the Highlands of Scotland, early morning light is shining through the dew covered trees.
  The Cuillins : Arguably the most beautiful mountains in Britain, and amongst the most dangerous. Taken from outside the fishing village of Elgol.
  Berries and lichen : Will it be a snowy winter! The old wife's tales say that trees laden with berries in the autumn means it will be a hard winter.
  May Blossom : May trees in spring time have these lovely flowers on them.
  Enard Bay Pebbles : The wild area of Assynt has fantastic beaches and fantastic coloured stone, the tides wash these pebbles every day.

  Buckland Beacon : Looking north before the sun goes down, Buckland Beacon has ever changing views.
  Above the Swincombe : These stones make up part of an old wall and boundary line above the Swincombe Valley behind Hexworthy.
  Thirlstone, Dartmoor : The Thirlstone on Watern Tor, West of Chagford high on the moor.
